About me
she/her
I want this page to serve as a space for you to get to know a bit about me, and what it’s like to work with me, so you can decide if we would be a good fit together.
I am a born and raised Chicagoan. Chicago has my heart, but you can often catch me planning a trip to the middle of nowhere. I’d rather be barefoot. You will usually find me with one of the following in hand: a camera, a book, or my phone (guilty). I will absolutely ask you what you’re watching, where you’re going out to eat, and probably quote movies at you.
Why do I want to work with people who struggle to feel connected to themselves and the world around them? Because I’ve been there. We have different stories, and you are the expert on yours. But I believe my journey makes me uniquely capable of helping you navigate yours.
I’m an eldest daughter who was an eternal pleasure to have in class (sound familiar?). Through my own therapy and work, I have learned to let go of my inner wannabe “cool girl” (insert Gone Girl monologue here) and welcome all of the genuine, inconvenient, parts of myself that deserve to take up space.
I’m still a type-A introvert, but I have learned to embrace the unpredictability that is life ( I still come accessorized with a color-coded checklist). I named my practice Inner Wild to honor the experience of learning to come home to your body and savor all life has to offer.
I am not the kind of therapist who will just nod along and tell you that you are right. I will take an active role in our time together- you will be (lovingly) challenged, you will laugh (I hope), cry, move around, and try new things to get to know yourself better. I show up with curiosity and a deep respect for your story.
If you are willing to learn to let go and embrace the silly, weird, messy parts of yourself you’ve been too afraid to show, we would work great together.
Professional Experience

MA in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
Licensure
LCPC in state of IL 180.013431
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in IL #33845
I have proudly served Chicago and surrounding areas for over 10 years. The mentorship and early experience I received in the field emphasized the importance of community mental health and making psychological services accessible to all. My experience spans treating adolescents and adults from a variety of backgrounds as diverse as the city of Chicago.
After moving on from working in higher levels of care, I spent 5 years working in the private practice space. It is here that I discovered my love of establishing more long-term therapeutic relationships that allows the deeper work to flourish.
Meet Tyche
(Tea-kuh)
Tyche is my trusty sidekick and adventure buddy. She has two modes: full zoomies or naptime. Tyche loves road trips and being outside- she has been to 3 National Parks!
You may see her on the rare occasion that she feels like working that day.
